Adrian P. Fontes, born and raised in Nogales, Arizona, is a former United States Marine. Mr. Fontes attended Arizona State University where he graduated summa cum laude in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. Mr. Fontes went on to earn his juris doctorate in 2000 from the University of Denver, College of Law. He is licensed to practice law in Arizona and Colorado as well as the U.S. District Courts located in Arizona.

Mr. Fontes combines a range of substantive experience with his day-to-day practice of law, which includes an intersection of sports, academic study, military training, and international law and relations. From his days as a public address announcer for two National Championship teams to supervising the Classified Materials Control Center for Marine Attack Squadron 513, Mr. Fontes brings an engaging, powerful and focused style to his courtroom advocacy.

Mr. Fontes’ prosecuting background as a former Deputy DA in Denver, a Maricopa Deputy County Attorney and an Assistant Attorney General for Arizona helped build his solid legal background. Immediately prior to helping form the Fontes Laboy Law Group, Mr. Fontes was charged with running the Arizona Attorney General’s Foreign Prosecutions Unit. This latest experience brought him into daily contact with local, state and federal officials in the United States and Mexico, and has allowed Mr. Fontes to develop an expertise unique among Arizona lawyers.
